Unforgettable Corfu: Private Island Discovery & Hidden Gems

With Anna as our guide and Christos as our driver, our private 7-hour tour of Corfu was fabulous! We visited the beautiful Paleokastritsa hilltop monastery, with its majestic old church, interesting museum, and scenic views. We also visited the picturesque village of Lakones and the historic Monastery of Panagia Vlacherna is on the small islet near Mouse Island, where we took in wonderful views. We took a long walk through Corfu Town with its beautiful main square, hidden small squares, labyrinth of narrow streets and alleys, and iconic churches. Along the way, Anna shared her immense knowledge of Corfu’s history and culture, and this made the day so interesting and enjoyable. She was very friendly and accommodating, adapting the tour to our interests and pace. We saw so much more than we would have in a group tour. Anna is a great guide and Christos is a great driver, and I recommend this tour highly.

Corfu was an excellent site to visit and the guide we hired to drive us around ("Lulu") made our visit absolutely delightful. We enjoyed our conversations with her as we drove around the city; gaining insights into the culture and personal lives of the local residents.

We were on a cruise and took the private excursion. It was amazing. They picked us up on time and brought us to wonderful places with so much historical information. We went to a quiet olive oil museum where we had a private tour and tasting! Thanks for sharing your island with us!

Akis, was waiting for us at the cruise terminal with a warm welcome and very nice vehicle. He showed us the Monestary, and other sights including one overlook that a bus cannot reach. We had requested some specialties of the region and he took us to a restaurant where we dined like royals. The best experience, terrific driver, we highly recommend.

The van was comfortable and very clean. Both the driver, Theo, and the guide, Anna, were wonderful. This was a great introduction to Corfu, visiting several sites, with a lunch break overlooking the nunnery and mouse island. And a fun walk through the maze of the old town.

A great excursion in Corfu. Our guide, Kristina, and driver, Theo, were very knowledgeable and assisted with skipping lines at various stops. As with all of our private tours, this was a great way to see a lot in a short period of time. Highly recommend this tour.

We enjoyed getting to see many of the sites on the island of Corfu including the gardens at Achilleon Palace --sadly the palace itself was closed for renovations--a monastery, and the Old Town of Corfu. We did some shopping and had lunch at a nice little restaurant in the city.

We had a wonderful time. We were on a cruise ship and prefer private tours/transportation and this was a much better option than the cruise ship offered. We only took a driver, Peter, and he was fabulous but I would probably have added the guide option if I did it again. The your agency was wonderful and communicated with us so we were well prepared. I would recommend the agency to others. Thank you for an easy and wonderful experience. Corgi was crowded but that had nothing to do with the tour.
